Beautiful day at the Arboretum
So Jessica sent me a message and said I have a huge favor. Jasmine Turns 18 Saturday and we wanted to get her pictures done before hand, is there a way you can make that happen. We agreed on the Sunday before her birthday to give it a go and wouldn't you know it 80% chance of rain. We looked around for a good venue and we decided on on the Arboretum in Dallas. What a choice. The weather turned out beautiful and we had a blast. This girl was so easy to photograph and edit because she has naturally beautiful skin tones and a beautiful smile.
We were a little worried after the freeze whether or not there would be any place to take beautiful pictures, and let me tell you the staff at the Gardens are amazing. It was absolutely beautiful. Between the water features and all the flowers it is a photographers dream. If you are looking for a place to take amazing pictures that is where you need to go.
The weather was great the conversations and company was great and would you look at that hat.
Now I can't wait to get her Senior pictures started!!!!!
The Edit
When I got these pictures on my computer I was trying to figure out how I wanted them to be edited. Since I don't have a specific go to style my edits will vary from shoot to shoot. With this one right from the start I noticed that Jasmine had a very bright and joyful smile. So when I started editing the album I tried to really show that. So I went with a brighter style and I could not have been happier with the way they came out. I really feel like it accented her natural beauty.
Unique Experience
My favorite thing about doing this is finding new ways to get pure natural smiles and laughter. It makes the photos great and it makes the entire experience fun and exciting. I love it when I tell the subject to do a certain thing and they just give me a look like huh???? I tell them to trust me and I can't wait to see the reaction when the see the photos like these.
